May Jerome Bettis get the his storybook ending and get that Superbowl ring in his hometown . . then there will be no question about him retiring. THAT'D be the way to go! Go Bus!

43 Things

I stumbled upon this site:

It's pretty cool. It asks the age-old question: What do you want to do with your life?

"Discover what's important, make it happen, share your progress. Find your 43 things."

Nintendo DS

I got a Nintendo DS! Used from EB Games at $109.99 plus tax. It's a metallic teal color, which I haven't seen anywhere else. Everything about it is great, except there's a dead pixel in the corner. Still debating whether or not to exchange it for another used one because of the dead pixel. Sometimes it bothers me and other times it doesn't. At first it bothered Ryan and now he doesn't mind. I can definitely live with it. I'm such a girl that the metallic teal color is really what prevents me from just going and exchanging it for another one. If it was the boring gray colored one then I would've traded it in the next day. I also bought Animal Crossing: Wild World and Metroid Pinball for Ryan, of course. The great thing is that you can play your GameBoy Advance games on it too! I guess it's a good thing we have Super Mario and Warioland 4 hiding in the closet. Now if I could just get my DS online like I'm suppose to be able to . . .

I don't get people sometimes. This is something that has been bothering me lately and I seem to encounter it at work a lot. I've been noticing that people will come to me asking questions to answers they could easily find out themselves. For example, "Did I send you that email ...?" Don't you know if you sent me an email? There is such a thing as an Outbox or a Sent Messages folder in your email client. I know it because it's the same one I use. Now my reasonings behind this phenomena are this: a.) It's just easier to ask me rather than do the grudge work yourself or b.) People seem to think I know everything and it's like automatic to come and ask me. And today someone asked me about something that they could EASILY find themselves if they would just go to the right place and find it. And it doesn't even involve getting up to go anywhere, they simply had to navigate to a shared drive and double-click to find out the answer. I attribute it to either ignorance or laziness and I'm really leaning towards the latter.

I just saw LeAnn Rimes perform the National Anthem for the Rose Bowl. It looks like she bought into the anorexic look too a la Nicole Ritchie and Lindsay Lohan. Sighhh . . . definitely looked better with some meat on her bones.

Blog Names

I seriously don't know what's wrong with me. It is SOOOO difficult for me to come up with a creative blog name and blog address. So what I went with the simplest thing I could think of. Unoriginal, I know. Maybe inspiration will hit me later.
